Lakeview Terrace - September 19, 2008
An interesting movie that might catch your attention this fall is an upcoming film titled Lakeview Terrace. Directed by Neil LaBute and starring Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington and Patrick Wilson, Lakeview Terrace is a perfect combination of drama and psychological thriller.
The movie, which is set for release on September 19th, 2008, revolves around a young interracial couple and their next-door neighbor Abel Turner (Samuel L. Jackson) who is a LAPD officer. The young couple Chris Mattson (Patrick Wilson) and Lisa Mattson (Kerry Washington) has just moved into their California dream home and everything seems to be perfect, until they meet their next-door neighbor that is.
It soon becomes apparent that officer Turner can’t stand the newcomers’ interracial relationship and starts to make their lives a living hell. When the couple tries to fight back, things take even more of a downward spiral, since their neighbor has color on his side…LAPD Blue. This movie is sure to strike a chord with anyone who has ever had a nightmare of a neighbor.
