20th Century Fox presents “Knight and Day,” staring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz!
Directed by James Mangold and written by Patrick O’Neill, “Knight and Day” (formerly known as “Wichita” and “Trouble Man”) is among the new action movies, set to be released on July 2, 2010. This is the first time Cruise and Diaz will be staring together since the 2001 film “Vanilla Sky.” The movie also stars Maggie Grace, Olivier Martinez, Peter Sarsgaard, Viola Davis, Mark Blucas and Paul Dano.
The film was shot in Cadiz, Spain, until November 22, when seven bulls managed to escape from the film’s set and wander about the streets of Cadiz, before being grabbed on the beach. According to the police, two women were seriously injured. Fortunately, Tom and Cameron were not in Cadiz when the bulls attacked people. Yet the shooting was postponed. The mayor city’s spokesman declared: “Nothing will be filmed in Cadiz until we have a new plan that guarantees the safety of local residents.”
“Knight and Day” centers on an unlucky woman named June Havens (Diaz) whose life suddenly turns upside-down after meeting a secret agent, Rob Milner (Cruise). He takes her on a journey of mystery and intrigue.
In Rob’s and June’s fascinating adventure nothing and no one are what they seem. The unexpected betrayals make their relations mysterious. The task for this fugitive couple is to figure out whether to be accompanied by truth or trust.
