One of the funniest comedies due to hit movie theaters this year is scheduled for April 25th. Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay is the sequel to Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and is rated R for some sexual content.
The movie starts where the previous one ended and now Harold and Kumar are flying to Amsterdam where Harold hopes to find the girl of his dreams, Maria. Unfortunately for them and fortunately for us, they don’t make it. In the airplane Kumar jokingly behaves like a terrorist and Harold tries to use a bong.
For those who doesn’t know what a bong is, then it’s a smoking device also known as a water pipe and generally used to smoke cannabis or tobacco. With such behavior, and with mention of the bong mistakingly misheard as “bomb,” everyone mistakes them for real terrorists. The two end up — surprise, surprise — in Guantanamo Bay.
After escaping, the two become fugitives. Perhaps one of the funniest moments is that while on the run they end up in the retreat of U.S. President George W. Bush. It looks hilarious.
