Directed by Jon Avnet, 88 Minutes is set for a theatrical release on 18 April in US and Canada. The movie boasts a rich cast and stars Al Pacino, Alicia Witt, Leelee Sobieski, Neal McDonough and Benjamin McKenzie in a unique combination of Drama and Thriller.
88 Minutes centers on the life of Dr. Jack Gramm, a college professor who occasionally works for the FBI. Gramm’s life turns to a complete disaster when he receives a threatening message saying that he has only 88 minutes to live. The movie then follows Gramm as he tries to find the person who has sent him the message. Rotten Tomatoes reports that Gramm suspects his student, former lover and even a serial killer.
In 88 Minutes Al Pacino stars as Dr. Jack Gramm, a college professor who moonlights as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI. When Gramm receives a death threat claiming he has only 88 minutes to live, he must use all his skills and training to narrow down the possible suspects, who include a disgruntled student, a jilted former lover, and a serial killer who is already on death row, before his time runs out.
According to Loveray, the 88 Minutes movie was filmed mainly at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
88 Minutes is a great crime thriller! Al Pacino fits his role in the movie like a perfect glove. Movie fans will definitely be glued in their seats anticipating the next twist of events in the plot lines. 88 Minutes comes highly recommended for a fantastic crime thriller with substance.
