Distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures, directed by Mark Romanek, written by Alex Garland, produced by Allon Reich, Alex Garland and other producers, “Never Let Me Go” is among 2010 upcoming movie DVD releases.
It is a sci-fi, drama thriller film which is based on British author Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel “Never Let Me Go.” The English cast of the film is very promising: Keira Knightley as Ruth, Carey Mulligan as Kathy, Charlotte Rampling as Miss Emil and Andrew Garfield as Tommy. Keira worked with Charlotte Rampling in “The Duchess” and with Carey Mulligan in “Pride and Prejudice.”
The events take place in the English countryside. While watching the film you will notice familiar places such as Norfolk Hall, where some scenes of “The Duchess” were shot.
“Never Let Me Go” is a mysterious story of a woman who together with her two friends tries to clear up the unrevealed about their past. Later on it turns out that all the three schoolmates are clones born for special purpose: to give organs for transplants. Learn how this mysterious movie ends up when its released sometime next year.
