Written by Charles McKeown and Terry Gilliam this independent production is to released in 25 December 2009 and is sure to be one of the best upcoming movie dvd releases.
The death of Academy Award winner Heath Ledger, brought some changes to the plot of the movie. Initially the role was to be performed by Heath Ledger whose last performance we can enjoy in this movie.
The world known trio Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Collin Farrel will take the role of the Heath Ledger’s character Tony. With the joint efforts of the whole film making crew the production was not delayed. This three role interpretation will surely have unrivaled success.
The film takes us into the world of fantasy and surrealism. It tells about evil deals that Dr Parnassus (Christopher Plummer) have made with the devil for obtaining immortality and then eternal youth for the sake of love. But the payment time comes and the doctor meets the dilemma of choosing between the life of his daughter and the evil deal. The ideology of the right decision is main message of this work. ‘Imaginarium’ is a vagabond show where members of the audience go beyond the reason and reality.
The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus is a fantasy movie aimed to nourish our imagination.
