The wizard gives him a crash course in art and magic to prepare him for a battle against the forces of darkness in Manhattan.

The sorcerer and his unfortunate apprentice appear in an ancient conflict between good and evil. Trying to facilitate his job, the apprentice obtains a broomstick in order to fulfill his tasks. However, he falls into misfortune since the broom by chance develops a mind of its own.
