Some romantic films can be too romantic, but the Big Miracle is not. This movie will place people’s mind and spirit in a different light because it will touch the heart. So after the holidays have passed and recovery has taken place, Big Miracle should be on your list of movies to see in the New Year.
The movie Big Miracle is about the saving of some gray whales that have managed to get trapped in a frozen part of the sea. Time is of the essence to save these whales because the sea is freezing and becoming colder by the second. Amazingly, a news reporter happens to capture the trapped whales on film and begins to work with locals and others to save them. Now this effort is not easy and certainly offers a lot of challenges for all involved because some don’t understand how such a large creature can not make its way out to the waters that are not frozen. Luckily, help comes from an ex-girlfriend, a Greenpeace volunteer, and others that will work to save these gray whales from the Arctic Circle. They involve the media, locals, and politicians to obtain resources and a strategy towards the efforts of saving these whales.
Romantic films such as Big Miracle will certainly make one of the top drama movies of the year. It shows compassion, togetherness, and determination to reach a goal in the saving effort. Cast for this film include: Drew Barrymore, John Krasinski, and Kristen Bell. The movie is directed by Ken Kwapis. Big Miracle will hit theaters in February 2012.
