Forty-year-old actress Jennifer Aniston is obviously following the footsteps of Angelina Jolie by moving into the action flick genre with Gerard Butler in a new romantic movie “The Bounty Hunter.”
The stunning actress’ new role has uncanny similarities to Angelina Jolie’s role in “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”
“Jennifer knows people are going to say she’s copying Angelina, and she doesn’t care,” reported the New York Daily News.
“The Bounty Hunter” is among the forthcoming romantic comedy movies, directed by Andy Tennant, produced by Neal H. Moritz and distributed by Columbia Pictures (Sony Pictures Entertainment). The film will be released on March 19.
The film shooting started in June 2009 and ended in September. The film was shot in New York and other sights in the US. Jennifer Aniston stars as Nicole Hurly and Gerard Butler plays Milo Boyd.
The film centers on a luckless bounty hunter (Milo), who gets a desirable job, when he is hired to retrieve his bail-jumping ex-wife (Nicole)–the reporter trying to hide a murder. Milo finds his task quite easy, until Nicole takes off to find out who is really behind the murder. Now the exes are together in almost all scenes, one-upping each other until finding themselves on a run-for-their-lives adventure.
Doesn’t the plot of “The Bounty Hunter” seem exactly like the storyline for “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”?
