Noise
Directed by Tony Spiridakis and starring model Trish Goff, the DVD release of Noise is scheduled for May. The film combines different genres such as drama and romance and is also a psychological thriller.
Noise details the life of a woman whose every day problems escalate as soon as she encounters her mysterious and insane upstairs neighbor. Her encounters with neighbor Charlotte Bancroft (Ally Sheedy) become more and more frequent, as a result of which Joyce Chandler’s (Trish Goff) suffers more.
Joyce loses her job and her life goes downhill. She wants to leave everything and start a new life, but seems to be unable. And, the only question that is left is, “When will Joyce’s breaking point come?”
In the site of Dennis Schwartz, it is reported that “Noise takes the common quality of life situation for New York City residents and pushes it to the very extremes.”
Out of desperation Joyce meets with Charlotte but finds that the woman is a little off and in desperate need of a friend, and Joyce is not willing to be a friend or play shrink. She finds nothing in common with the woman even though they are both single, lonely, and work for publishing firms as editors. Exhausting her rational options, Joyce places a salacious ad in a sex rag for Charlotte.
FearScene.com has already watched the movie and has enjoyed the soundtrack along with its nerve-wrecking but rather intriguing scenes.
Noise was a pretty decent thriller. There’s a bit of a twist at the end that I wasn’t expecting but certainly should have seen coming. I would definitely recommend a viewing if you happen to catch it on some night. I really enjoyed the soundtrack too - very melodramatic. And the way they did the ending credits was pretty interesting.
The trailer of the Noise movie is available on Videodetective, enjoy watching it!
