Certainly all of us have once dreamed that the two mega stars Angelina Jolie, who is considered the epitome of beauty and perfection worldwide, and one of the most handsome and talented actors in the world, Johnny Depp, would star in the same movie. This is no longer the fruit of our bright imagination, but a mere reality.

These stars of the first magnitude are going to star in a movie called “The Tourist.” This film is no doubt going to be a masterpiece, if not become one of the best thriller movies of the 21st century since the collaboration of these gifted actors is going to be something special, something original and indescribable.

“The Tourist” was originally going to feature a totally different cast: Tom Cruise was later replaced by Sam Worthington and Charlize Theron was replaced by Angelina Jolie.  However, later it became clear that these were not the only cast changes that the film would endure, as the world famous pirate and notorious lady killer Johnny Depp came to replace Sam Worthington in the leading male role.

We very much hope that this is going to be the final cast of the film. With Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie in the same film, even the film plot seems to be of secondary importance, but in fact is also of great interest.

“The Tourist” is a story about a female Interpol agent (Jolie) who traps an American tourist (Depp) into cryptic business and uses him to find a criminal she once had a love affair with. The sexual tension between the two major characters, that will be revealed in the shower scene, also contributes to making the thriller more intriguing.

The plot of “The Tourist” is similar to that of a French movie called “Anthony Zimmer” on which it is based.  “Anthony Zimmer” is also a mysterious story about a lady and a man who get acquainted on a train going to Venice.

Directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, and written by Julian Fellowes  and Christopher McQuarrie, “The Tourist” is sure to surpass all your expectations. However, now we have nothing to do but look forward to 2011 when this breathtaking movie is  released.
