Prom Night
Prom Night is a horror thriller and a remake of the 1980 film with the same title. It’s directed by Nelson McCormick and stars Brittany Snow, Johnathon Schaech and Scott Porter. The movie is about Donna (Brittany Snow) who witnessed her teacher, Richard Fenton, killing her father, mother and brother.
Donna managed to survive from being killed herself and Fenton was sent to prison. Three years later, however, Donna is graduating from high school and preparing to celebrate the prom night with friends, but Fenton has escaped from prison and is making his way to the prom night as well. During the prom, everything goes well until midnight when things take a horrifying turn for the worse.
According to Movies, the film has nothing much in common with its predecessor.
Absolutely nothing like the first Prom Night, where the killer’s identity was kept secret until the final moments, this time, a former teacher turned stalker is after Snow, and you know it immediately. He’s already murdered her entire family, spent some time in the nuthouse and escaped. Now he’s back because he really, really likes prom. And stabbing former students.
