Superhero Movie
If you’re looking for fun this spring then a trip to the movie theater for Superhero Movie which was released on 28 March 2008. I’m sure that most of you will find it interesting as well if only because it’s a combination of Batman, Spider Man, X-Man and other superhero movies.
Written and directed by Craig Mazin, and produced by David Zucker and Robert K. Weiss, the same people who made Scary Movie, the film revolves around Rick Riker (Drake Bell) and Lou Landers (Christopher McDonald). Rick is High School loser who is bitten by a mutated dragonfly which gives him super strength and an armored skin. At first he uses his abilities for fun, but when the criminal Landers appears, Rick realizes that everyone is counting on him.
Landers is a criminal who after an experiment becomes The Hourglass who can steal people’s life and obtain permanent immortality. However, there are other evil forces in movie, but unlike Batman or Spiderman it has a creative humor which puts the film into the action and comedy genre and not in horror or Sci-Fi.
